Therrien was so out-coached last stanley cup finals it was amazing they offered him an extension during the off-season! it was obvious then that he had lost the team and Sid the Kid was the acting coach. time to get a real "voice" behind the bench. Quinn would be a FANTASTIC fit! you are bang on with that one!

Woodpeck, to say he was simply out coached in the SCF is a bit of a stretch when some of his star players were 21, 20, and 19 years old.
I also feel your pain, as I have Sid on my fantasy team as well. I've debated trading him these past few weeks. At least he logged 21 PIM and got me 8 points!
I've got to side with Lori on this one. The Wings were in a class of their own last night. Like all great players and teams, you've got to learn how to lose before you can win, and that's what Pittsy went through last year. This year? The wheels have fallen off.
And, Ian, I put Sidney on the block as well. Mine's a keeper league, so I'm loathe to trade him. I'm trying to see what the market is like. It's a recession, after all.

Lori, Therrien failed to adapt in the finals last year and didn't appear to me to have the ear of his team IMHO.
